Hotel Stays on the Great West Way

Checking into a lovely hotel room for the night, after a busy day exploring the Great West Way, feels like a special treat. Especially if you’ve been exerting yourself in active pursuits - hiking, biking or kayaking the touring route’s tempting trails and waterways.

You know you’ll be well looked after in a hotel, and all the little (but fundamental) things will be taken care of. The beds will be made with freshly-laundered sheets. The bathroom will be gleaming and decked out with luxurious lotions and potions, ready for you to sink into a soothing bubble bath. And a delicious dinner - maybe with a nice glass of wine on the side - will be waiting for you in the restaurant.

Along the Great West Way you can be as pampered as you like. If you really want the star treatment, there are 5-star hotels frequented by royalty. There are also unique boutique hotels you won’t find anywhere else, mid-range chain brands you know you can rely on and cheap and cheerful stops that are ideal if you’re just looking to get your head down for the night. You could probably even find your own Fawlty Towers if you like a lot of laughs with your late night cocoa… but with such an abundance of choice, you’d definitely don’t have to.
