This display of artwork, featuring an eclectic mix of artistic mediums by mainly local artists, accompanies the show in the central gallery of the Royal United Hospital, as part of the art and design programme Art at the Heart of the RUH.
The aim of the exhibition is to help promote conversations concerning 'Art as Therapy' as well as raising an awareness of the wonderful work of the Bath Mind charity. Each artist that has contributed work to this exhibition has talked of their own experience with mental health issues and submitted an accompanying written statement describing their personal understanding of the connection between their art practise and positive mental health.
We hope that you enjoy the art that you see and if a piece raises a smile or inspires, please consider donating direct to Bath Mind.
