A hands-on introduction to the Japanese technique of 'Tataki Zomé (flower pounding), a process of hammering flowers into paper and fabrics - using the plants that grow in the Pound Arts Garden and in the local area! Explore different compositions and experience the beautiful natural colours the plants can make.
- Session to take place in the garden if the weather permits!
- Fabrics are to be sourced from charity shops/ second hand stores!
- Some flowers, plants and vegetables to be brought in, participants are encouraged to bring flowers from their own gardens or forage from the Pound Arts garden!
