1472 reviewsThe White Hart stands proudly in the centre of Medieval Salisbury, just opposite the famous Cathedral and close. Salisbury is a beautiful City, known as the city in the countryside.
The main building with Georgian portico and balcony dates back to 17th century. the balcony was originally used for receiving guests luggage into the bedrooms from the top of the horse drawn carriages. In recent times tradition has it that the newly elected MP for the City, stands on the balcony the morning after the election and sings the regimental marching song of the Wiltshire regiment’ The Vly Be On The Turmet’
There are 68 well-appointed bedrooms of which 30 were newly refurbished in early 2023, this includes a variety of sizes and configurations. Although a very traditional and historic building, the décor is elegant with a modern twist.
All bedrooms offer comfortable space, with large flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and board, air conditioning and eco-friendly toiletries – there are no single use plastics within our bedrooms. For a little more luxury opt for a privilege room which has Nespresso coffee machines and bath robes. There is also car parking onsite.
Within the hotel you will find a comfy lounge area, well-stocked bar, elegant restaurant and pretty courtyard garden but most importantly a team where service and attention means everything.
The hotel can cater for events up to 150 persons, with four event rooms to choose from.
